Sustainability

1. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

As a Corporate Social Responsibility, waste management is a big concern in today’s world. Planet Green Recycling performs different types of waste management. The techniques followed differ based on the type of wastes we receive from our clients. Saving our planet is everybody’s responsibility; we do the waste management to clean our environment and to maintain the balance between different components of the environment. Also it’s our corporate social responsibility to adopt the best suited technique of the waste treatment so that the society cannot be harmed by its waste products. We work closely with charitable organizations locally and internationally by donating the refurbished computer systems and other useful products to schools, colleges or other communities thereby offering social benefit to those in need as it enables access to the technology. As a part of our CSR policy we contribute a percentage of our company’s profit for charity.

2. Environmental Benefits

Our CSR principal has been embedded into the core foundation of our organization. Our facilities rely on solar power; we make use of CNG vehicles for e-waste collection and we even recycle the water consumed in our facilities. We strictly adhere to the norms of an environmentally friendly policy. Through our eco friendly and safe destruction, segregation and recycling efforts we ensure that toxic materials such as lead, cadmium, mercury, barium, BFRs etc which are currently leaching out to the environment will be highly minimized thus reducing the environmental burden.

3. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Environmental protection is the main pillar and the primary concern of the future of humanity. It defines how we should study and protect ecosystems, air quality, integrity and sustainability of our resources and focusing on the elements that place stress on the environment. It also concerns how technology will drive our greener future; the EPA recognized that developing technology and biotechnology is key to this sustainability. Our responsibility is to protect the environment from potential damage that may arise from technological advances.

4. SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

There are many facets to this pillar. Most importantly is awareness of and legislation protection of the health of people from pollution and other harmful activities of business and other organizations. In America, Europe and the rest of the developed world, there are strong checks and programs of legislation in place to ensure that people’s health and wellness is strongly protected. It is also about maintaining access to basic resources without compromising the quality of life. The biggest hot topic for many people right now is sustainable housing and how we can better build the homes we live in from sustainable material. Educating and encouraging people to participate in environment
